Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are sanitized regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients or organizing supplies when needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and inviting. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for food service. Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness. Help with basic catering or banquet setups by organizing serving ware and assisting with cleanup. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or bending. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment. Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers. Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude and eagerness to support the team in fast-paced settings.
