Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently to ensure readiness for use. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to promote a safe and organized workspace. Assist with food preparation tasks Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and uphold health standards. Adhere to safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment operation. Qualifications Previous experience in food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. A genuine interest in hospitality, food service, or culinary fields is highly valued.
