Duties Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team with food handling, cooking, and plating to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination Help with menu planning and ingredient inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient Support catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup and breakdown Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service experience Skills Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices Excellent knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes in a fast-paced environment Experience in restaurant or food industry settings demonstrating reliable food service skills Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Knowledge of culinary principles including menu planning, food safety, and catering support Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy items, and working efficiently under pressure Join us if you're motivated by creating great food experiences, thrive in team environments, and are eager to develop your culinary expertise!
