Duties Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by washing, sanitizing, and organizing efficiently. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision. Support food service staff by bussing tables, clearing plates, and ensuring dining areas stay tidy and inviting. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring all food handling safety standards are met. Follow proper cleaning protocols for kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health standards. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to prevent contamination or spoilage. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy meal periods. Experience Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with food handling safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience in food preparation, bussing, or catering environments enhances your ability to excel in this role. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning tools is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate.
