This energetic role is vital to maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use while assisting with food preparation tasks. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas Support catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring timely delivery of prepared food items Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food-related activities Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes during service to support smooth restaurant operations Adhere to sanitation guidelines and safety protocols at all times to promote a healthy work environment Skills Experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments preferred Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques are a plus Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support kitchen staff during busy periods Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a lively team atmosphere This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary knowledge while supporting a vibrant hospitality environment.
