Job Description
Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility Team Member Garifuna Flava is hiring a reliable Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility Team Member to join our restaurant team. We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and willing to help keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service hours and catering preparation. This position is important to the success of our restaurant. The dishwasher helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen while supporting cooks, prep staff, and management as needed. Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment Keep the dish area clean, organized, and moving efficiently Take out trash and keep garbage areas clean Sweep, mop, and maintain clean kitchen floors Help clean prep areas, equipment, and surfaces Assist with basic kitchen support tasks when needed Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Help maintain a clean and professional restaurant environment Work quickly and carefully during busy periods Support the team with a positive attitude Requirements Must be reliable and show up on time Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Must be able to stand for long periods Must be able to lift, carry, and move kitchen items as needed Must be willing to clean thoroughly and follow instructions Restaurant or dishwasher experience is preferred but not required Positive attitude and teamwork are important Schedule We are looking for team members who can work during restaurant operating hours, including weekends. Availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, respectful, hardworking, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean.
