In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to support the smooth operation of our food service environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Perform food handling tasks in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Support cooking staff by preparing salads, desserts, and other simple dishes. Participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet events. Buss tables and assist with serving food during events or busy periods. Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Skills Experience in food preparation and handling is essential. Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices. Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is highly desirable. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a tidy kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Familiarity with banquet operations is a plus. Culinary experience or formal training is beneficial but not required.
