Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen surfaces are kept clean and organized. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash. Requirements Food Handler Certificate Required Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
