Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff during peak hours. Ensure all items are properly sanitized according to health and safety regulations. Organize clean dishes and utensils in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff. Help with the disposal of waste and recycling in compliance with environmental standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen during busy service times. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds). A genuine interest in the culinary arts and hospitality industry.
