About the Role At Al Manakeesh, every great dish starts behind the scenes. As our Dishwasher / Food Prep specialist, you're the backbone of our kitchen — keeping things clean, organized, and ready so our culinary team can do what they do best. If you're someone who takes pride in a spotless station, moves with energy, and wants to build real kitchen experience, this is your starting point. A Day in the Life Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment so the kitchen is always ready to go Handle basic food prep — chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients to recipe and to standard Support the culinary team by prepping ingredients, assembling sides, garnishes, and components needed for service Follow proper food handling procedures every shift, no shortcuts Keep the kitchen organized — restock supplies, clean workstations, and dispose of waste the right way Practice kitchen safety at all times, including proper knife handling and sanitation Work alongside the team during the rush to keep prep on track and service running smooth What We're Looking For Prior kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required — a willingness to learn goes a long way Basic familiarity with food prep, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization Able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and keep up in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and a true team-first mentality Why Al Manakeesh?
