Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen and dining areas, supporting smooth restaurant operations. The Dishwasher will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for service, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and storage areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies as needed. Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety compliance. Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces. Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating professionalism and reliability at all times. Skills Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members across departments. Previous experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation is advantageous. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality industry.
