Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, preparing ingredients for meal service, and supporting the overall food operation. Your dedication ensures that our kitchen upholds the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and quality, contributing directly to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling simple dishes under supervision Support meal service by preparing ingredients according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with catering or special event setups as needed, including serving or clearing food items Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments demonstrating strong food industry familiarity Proficiency in culinary skills such as knife handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking methods Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures required for food service operations Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and serving guests or residents This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the culinary arts who thrive in collaborative environments.
