Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient food preparation to support our culinary team. Your dedication helps create a welcoming environment for guests and supports the smooth running of our food service operations across various settings including restaurants, catering events, hotels, and banquet halls. Duties Maintain a spotless and sanitized dishwashing station by thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial-grade cleaning tools and solutions. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff. Support banquet and catering events by preparing food items according to specifications and ensuring timely setup and breakdown of service stations. Uphold strict food handling and safety standards by following proper hygiene protocols and sanitation procedures at all times. Buss tables during service periods to clear dishes, reset tables promptly, and ensure a clean dining environment for guests. Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and maintaining organized storage areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service hours while adhering to health regulations. Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff during high-pressure situations. Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques like chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients. Experience with bussing tables or supporting hospitality operations is a plus.
