Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing dishes during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces. Help with basic food handling and catering setup for events or banquet services. Follow proper food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the overall flow of the kitchen by assisting with light cleaning and organization tasks as directed. Skills Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during high-pressure situations. Basic culinary skills including food preparation and kitchen sanitation are advantageous. Experience with banquet service, catering setups, or hotel kitchens is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace.
