Dishwasher/Prep Cook

FULL WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED HOURS

• Saturday 8:30-3 (or until job is completed)
• Sunday 8:30-3 (or until job is completed)
• Week day shifts available as needed.

Chair City Diner is a non-profit organization for the Gardner community. We strive to create a safe, welcoming atmosphere for our community. We help our community in Gardner grow by providing support with diner funded projects. Pay is based on experience, a raise is available upon your 6 month review.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. Your role is crucial in supporting our culinary team and ensuring smooth operations. We would like to bring on board someone who is comfortable cross training to our kitchen as a line / prep cook.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Empty and clean trash receptacles
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed
• Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
• Chopped prep/ line prep as needed during weekend shift

Paid Sick Time Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
