Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep! This vital role ensures the cleanliness and organization of kitchenware, while also assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service. Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions under supervision, ensuring quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage spaces. Handle food items safely during preparation and service in compliance with health regulations. Assist with meal assembly and catering support as needed for special events or large orders. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of meals. Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and basic food safety practices. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques. Background in the food industry or culinary experience is advantageous. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others. This role provides an excellent foundation for those interested in advancing their culinary career while contributing to a supportive team environment focused on quality service and safety.
