Job Description
Homestead. in Northampton center is hiring for an evening dinner service dishwasher position. Evenings and weekend availability are a must. Dishwashing experience is preferred but we are always willing to train the proper candidate. Looking to get into kitchens or see what they are all about? This is a great entry position in a kitchen focused on learning and growth. Duties Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of operations during busy service hours Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, or catering is advantageous Experience with cleaning protocols in a commercial kitchen setting is beneficial Knowledge of basic kitchen safety standards and food handling regulations preferred Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guest service teams
