Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support culinary staff during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, floors, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace. Support catering events and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with light food handling duties. Collaborate with team members to manage bussing duties and ensure timely clearing of tables in dining areas. Follow proper food handling procedures to meet health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies needed for dishwashing or cleaning supplies. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables, food prep, or cleaning is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols is advantageous. Previous banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided.
