Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook/Dish Washer to join our culinary team. This vital role combines food preparation, cooking, and dishwashing responsibilities to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to menu specifications Cook dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and timing Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, prep stations, and cooking equipment Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist with menu planning and portion control as needed Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for quality and safety before serving Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service in a restaurant or culinary setting Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Fine dining or catering experience is beneficial but not required Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior kitchen experience in the food industry will help you succeed in this role Join us at Grassfields where your culinary skills will shine!
