Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for menu items. Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing plates, and ensuring dining areas stay tidy. Help with catering and banquet setups, including organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of food items. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to uphold health regulations and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces regularly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service times and special events. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety protocols. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in fast-paced environments. Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary prep and food safety standards.
