Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness in all food prep areas, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage spaces. Support catering events and banquet setups by providing timely dishwashing and food prep assistance. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all aspects of food service. Help with bussing tables during busy service times to ensure a clean dining environment for guests. Adhere to all sanitation regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important. Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as cleaning protocols, food handling, and sanitation standards is advantageous. Experience working in banquet settings or catering events can be a plus. Knowledge of culinary practices or hotel food service operations is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately in fast-paced environments. Prior hospitality or restaurant experience helps build a foundation for success in this role.
