Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients when needed Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal as required Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Basic understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of general kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus Previous banquet experience or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not required Join us if you're ready to bring energy to a vital role that keeps our culinary operations running smoothly!
