You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This energetic position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-paced culinary operation, supporting chefs and food service staff to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. Your dedication helps create a welcoming atmosphere where quality and cleanliness are prioritized every day. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients when needed Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with cleanup afterward Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety standards are met Keep the kitchen area tidy by regularly cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times Skills Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in a restaurant or hospitality setting Experience with bussing tables and supporting food service operations is a plus Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques Familiarity with catering or banquet environments enhances your versatility in the role Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff Prior restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; eagerness to learn is essential This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop foundational culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant hospitality environment.
