Duties Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the catering team by handling dishware during events and ensuring all items are ready for service. Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, counters, and storage spaces to promote a safe workspace. Buss tables by clearing used dishes and assisting servers with food handling to ensure efficient service flow. Help with basic kitchen cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of dishes during busy service hours. Requirements Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas. Experience in food service or catering environments is a plus, especially banquet or hotel experience. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations.
