Job Description

Overview Davison Country Club is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in ensuring dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen work areas are cleaned and sanitized according to health department standards while assisting with general kitchen cleanliness and organization. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely dish clearance during busy service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates in dining areas when required. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations. Experience with food preparation or catering services is a plus; familiarity with banquet or hotel settings is advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
