Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. You will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and keeping the kitchen environment clean and organized. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. Support catering events and banquets as needed, contributing to a positive dining experience. Help maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is highly desirable. A background in catering or hospitality can be beneficial for this role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
