As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential in supporting the overall functionality of our restaurant. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Assist with bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed at all times. Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to support banquet services during busy periods. Organize and store clean dishes in designated areas to facilitate efficient service. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is a plus but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is beneficial. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various tasks beyond dishwashing, including food preparation and general kitchen help.
