Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining a high-quality food service environment. This position is a key part of our food preparation and service process and plays a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and ensure they are properly maintained
  • Assist with food preparation and service as needed
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Participate in bussing duties, including clearing tables and sweeping floors
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive and collaborative kitchen environment
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a food service environment, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Familiarity with food preparation and service procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic culinary skills, including cooking and food preparation
  • Ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive team environment
Skills:
  • Experience in a restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation and service procedures
