Dishwasher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our organization. There is housing available on-site, adjacent to the small hotel. We are a team of open-minded, passionate people who care about food and workplace integrity. Some English is preferred but not required (Spanish-only speakers will also be considered).

Duties:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
