Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. Anchorage Marina & Yacht Club is a private, members only club. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized, and supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team. May need help with bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy restaurant environment. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Skills Experience in food preparation or working in a hospitality environment is preferred. Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus. Ability to maintain cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude. Willingness to help others and contribute to a collaborative work atmosphere.
