Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including counters, floors, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines. Support catering and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and ensuring serving stations are stocked and tidy. Handle food handling responsibilities safely by following proper sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold a positive, energetic work environment. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Basic knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff during busy service times. Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus; familiarity with banquet or hotel kitchens is advantageous. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, cleaning, and food service operations.
