Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support the catering and banquet teams by providing clean dishware . Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with safety standards. Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a hygienic work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service periods. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads or moving racks. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Previous experience with bussing or food preparation is a plus; banquet or catering experience is highly valued.
