Objective:
The Dishwasher at Papa Joe's Commissary Kitchen plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our food preparation areas. By ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and available, this position supports the seamless operation of our food production processes, directly contributing to the quality of food delivered to our various restaurant locations.

An individual who thrives in a structured, high-volume food production environment, understanding the critical role cleanliness plays in food safety and quality. A collaborative team member who works well under pressure and is committed to supporting the commissary kitchen's goals. A proactive and detail-oriented person, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Flexible and willing to embrace new responsibilities or shifts in tasks as the needs of the commissary kitchen evolve.
What You Will Bring:
A strong commitment to health and safety standards, with a focus on food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. The ability to efficiently manage your workload, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion without compromising quality. The capacity to follow detailed cleaning protocols and operate dishwashing and sanitizing equipment effectively. A positive and supportive attitude, aiding in creating a cooperative and productive work environment.
What You Will Do:
Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to Papa Joe's standards, ensuring they are ready for use in food production. Keep the dishwashing area and other assigned areas of the commissary kitchen clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving and organizing supplies and equipment as needed, maintaining an orderly storage system. Actively participate in maintaining a culture of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the commissary kitchen. Adapt to various tasks as required, supporting the overall productivity and efficiency of the kitchen operations.
The Skills You'll Learn:
Advanced knowledge of health and safety practices specific to a large-scale food production environment. Efficient techniques for managing high volumes of kitchenware and equipment cleaning. Organizational skills for effectively managing supplies and equipment in a commissary kitchen setting.
