Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed and organizing kitchen supplies. Ensure that all dishwashing equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods. Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines to promote a clean working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds). A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a culinary setting.
