Experienced Dishwasher Blue Goat - Royal Oak Blue Goat is a standards-driven restaurant built on respect, accountability, consistency, and hospitality. We believe cleanliness, organization, and teamwork are just as important as great food. We are hiring an experienced dishwasher to join our team full-time, including nights and weekends. Role Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire dish area throughout service and closing.

Responsibilities include:

Operating and maintaining the dish machine Properly washing, sanitizing, and organizing all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and smallwares Scraping and sorting dishes before washing Maintaining clean shelving, storage racks, and dish organization systems Keeping floors, walls, drains, sinks, and work surfaces clean throughout the shift Deep cleaning areas surrounding the dish machine and sink stations Assisting with moving dishes, equipment, and supplies between the upstairs kitchen and downstairs dish area Supporting cooks and service staff with dish flow during busy periods Taking ownership of overall dish pit organization and cleanliness Assisting with general kitchen cleaning projects as needed Expectations You take pride in cleanliness and organization You move with urgency while remaining professional and focused You notice problems and address them before being asked You maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times You communicate respectfully with cooks, servers, managers, and fellow team members You help create a culture where everyone contributes to carrying dishes, keeping stations clean, and supporting one another You understand that hospitality starts with a clean restaurant You lead through effort, professionalism, and consistency Requirements Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred Ability to lift and carry dish racks, bus tubs, and kitchen equipment Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Reliable, punctual, and accountable Ability to work nights and weekends Ability to perform in a fast-paced restaurant environment Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent scheduling Opportunity for growth within the company Benefits Employee meals provided Referral program Read This Before Applying Blue Goat is a small team with high standards.
