Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation areas are sanitized, breakroom is clean, and ready for service. This position is essential for supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering events by setting up and breaking down food service areas. Bus tables and clear dishes promptly to ensure a smooth workflow during service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning practices and sanitation standards in food service. Culinary experience or training is advantageous but not required. Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests.
