Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and versatile Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, from food preparation to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking menu items according to established recipes, standards, and dietary guidelines. Support meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are sanitized and ready for use. Help with food plating and presentation to ensure meals meet quality standards before serving. Follow all food safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Collaborate with team members during busy service times to deliver timely and high-quality food service. Experience Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus. Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods. Basic knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are highly desirable. Understanding of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards. Experience with catering or serving in a restaurant setting will be beneficial. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
