Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant or hospitality establishment. As well as taking orders over the phone and in-person. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy service periods. Bus tables and assist with the removal of dirty dishes from dining areas to ensure a smooth workflow. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high standards of cleanliness. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Greeting customers, answering questions about the menu, processing payments, and ensuring orders are accurately entered into the system. They may also assist with carryout orders, help with general inquiries, and maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a culinary setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the culinary arts and hospitality is highly valued. A strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to accurately take orders, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
