Lunchroom Food Prep & Dishwasher 2026-2027 School Year

Good Shepherd School is seeking an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our school lunch program! This role is needed Monday thru Friday from 10:30am to 1:30pm (some flexibility on window of time) to help with the end of our lunch period, clean up and preparing for the next day. The Lunchroom Food Prep & Dishwasher supports the daily preparation and service of nutritious meals, helping foster a positive and organized lunch environment for students. This individual works closely with staff and volunteers to ensure meals are served safely, efficiently, and with care. This is a new role to our team to help make our kitchen run more efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanup Set up, maintain, and clean food service areas Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards are followed Prepare and serve meals according to the daily and monthly menu, as needed Support smooth and efficient lunch line operations Collaborate with school staff, volunteers, and student helpers Step in to support additional needs as they arise Why Join Good Shepherd?
