Dishwasher - Evenings 4-9pm

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards, allowing our chefs to focus on food preparation and service. Duties Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic culinary tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients. Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Support catering events by ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help in various areas of the kitchen as required, including catering or banquet setups.
