Manager Job Summary:
The Food Program Dishwasher is responsible for daily dishes being washed, rinsed and sanitized. This includes bottles, sippy cups, meal trays and cooking tools and equipment.
General Responsibilities :
Daily dishes done using a bottle brush to ensure cleanliness Attend meetings, as scheduled Cleaning of café area
Job Duties :
To rinse, wash, rinse and sanitize all dishes created by the Food Program; includes bottles, sippy cups, bottle components, meal trays and other dish needed attention Filling and draining of sanitizer machine Cleaning of sink area after job completion Use stainless steel cleaner each day in dishwashing area Take out main trash from kitchen to receptacle outside Report all concerns, including red-flag behaviors and policy violations Skills, Education, and Experience Maintain an up-to-date CPR, First Aid, AED certification Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and multi-task Be punctual, show up on time for your shift Ability to act in accordance with the mission and values of the YMCA. Ability to learn and enforce YMCA building safety and emergency guidelines. Be in YMCA uniform with nametag All employees must complete assigned Praesidium trainings prior to starting employment Ensure you stay up to date on all training, including abuse prevention training
Physical Qualifications :
Speaking, hearing, seeing, reading, writing, typing, lifting, walking, standing
Restrictions :
Employees are prohibited from using cell phones or any other distracting devices while on shift. Employees are prohibited to eat while they are working and in the kitchen All employees are required to work at least 8 hours per month to maintain complimentary membership status. Must be in uniform at all times All other guidelines must be followed in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
