Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment to support our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and food service. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable culinary and hospitality experience while contributing to a dynamic team. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and promptly Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed Support food preparation activities by handling ingredients and cleaning workstations Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas in compliance with health standards Assist with basic food handling tasks and support catering or banquet setups when required Ensure all dishes are stored properly and kitchen areas are kept tidy throughout shifts Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment Support the culinary team with general kitchen duties to ensure smooth operation during service hours Sweeping the floor and mopping floors Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward hospitality service Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within the hospitality industry while supporting a professional culinary team.
