Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and hospitality, and who enjoy working as part of a team. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooking. Buss tables and assist servers in clearing dishes to maintain a smooth workflow in the dining area. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Support the kitchen team with various tasks as required to ensure efficient operations during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen team are essential for success in this role.
