Dishwasher 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 153 West King Street, Hillsborough, NC 27278 $16 an hour - Part-time The Colonial Inn 12 reviews $16 an hour - Part-time We are seeking an individual to work as a Dishwasher who ensure that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications:
Ability to work with little supervision and focused in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions. Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently. Must be at least 18 years of age, or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws. Flexible schedule to meet business needs. Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ability to maintain a composed, approachable and professional attitude.
Responsibilities:
Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas. Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils. Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam. Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks. May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed. Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
