Summary:

Appalachian Mountain Brewery is seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our back of house team. The dishwasher will work under the supervision of the head chef and kitchen management to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment by hand or using a dishwasher Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen Assist in other kitchen duties as needed including but not limited to food prep, sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash Maintain a positive and professional work environment at all times

Qualifications:

Experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or brewpub Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Education and/or

Experience:

1+ years' experience working as a dishwasher in a restaurant or brewpub kitchen

Work Environment:

Kitchen environment, including hot areas, hot equipment, coolers, freezers, sharp knives Fast-paced, high-volume

Physical Demands:

While performing job duties the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, lift, talk, and hear The employee is required to be on foot for a large portion of the shift The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch Must be able to lift approximately 20 pounds overhead •Appalachian Mountain Brewery requires a post-offer, pre-employment background check•
