In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment that supports exceptional food service. Your positive attitude and commitment to cleanliness will contribute directly to the overall guest experience and the seamless operation of our culinary team. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, including sinks, counters, and storage areas Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in meal assembly or ingredient handling Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper bussing of dishes during service hours Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by assisting with general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy periods Experience with catering or banquet services is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation processes enhances your effectiveness in this role Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while upholding safety and hygiene standards This part-time Dishwasher position offers an engaging opportunity to be an essential part of our hospitality team.
