Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Utility Worker/Dishwasher to join our team! This position is responsible for a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies in the Food and Beverage Department. The Utility Worker/Dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times. This position is full-time and pays $15/hr. Hours may vary depending on how busy the kitchen is toward closing time. Benefits include paid time off, health and dental insurance, and use of the community's fitness center.

Dishwasher:
Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization. Sets up the dish and pot washing area Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes and utensils. Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and other areas of the kitchen including mopping and sweeping, according to cleaning schedules and procedures. Empties trash containers as required. Assist with meal deliveries and delivery process as needed. Works buffet line as needed. Trains in prep cook area as time allows Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness, maintains orderly, safe, sanitary, and secure work area at all time and follows all established safety and quality control procedures. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to understand direction in English Ability to walk/stand for 100% of the work day Ability to life and carry up to 35lbs independently and push/pull carts and trays weighing up to 100lbs Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent experience Porters Neck Village fully embraces a culture of hospitality.
