Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas. This role is essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and supporting the entire restaurant team. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen Empty trash and recycling containers regularly Sweep and mop kitchen floors following sanitation guidelines Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly used Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintain a positive attitude and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Team-oriented mindset Previous restaurant or dishwasher experience preferred, but not required Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits (Optional) Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Employee meals or discounts Opportunities for growth and advancement Work Environment This position operates in a busy kitchen environment with exposure to hot surfaces, wet floors, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
