Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support seamless food service operations. Support food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and assisting culinary staff when needed. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal. Help with setting up catering events or banquet functions by ensuring all necessary dishware is available and properly cleaned. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with food handling, bussing, or kitchen experience is a plus. Prior banquet or culinary experience can enhance your ability to excel in this role.
