Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen while supporting food service operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our culinary team. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen workspace. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in cleaning duties beyond dishwashing, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and catering experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a culinary setting. Knowledge of safe food handling practices is essential for maintaining health regulations. Experience in hospitality or culinary roles will be beneficial for this position.
